PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Anjeka-7422 is a highly effective silicone-based surfactant designed for waterborne coatings, printing inks, and overprint varnishes. It dramatically lowers surface tension and provides outstanding improvement in substrate wetting properties.

STORAGE & HANDLING
May become cloudy or show separation when stored below 5 °C. In such cases, warm to ~20 °C and stir thoroughly until homogeneous.
For best performance, do not store longer than 12 months.

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS
Exhibits excellent long-term compatibility in coating systems within pH range 4–10.
To prevent possible haze or cloudiness, include a small portion of co-solvent (around 5% of total solvent content) when formulating with Anjeka-7422.
In formulations containing high levels of co-solvents, its performance may be reduced — in these cases, we suggest switching to Anjeka-7333 instead.

KEY PERFORMANCE BENEFITS
Industrial Coatings
This additive strongly decreases surface tension in aqueous systems, delivering excellent substrate wetting and improved leveling. It shows little to no foam stabilization, preserves good recoatability, and offers very good compatibility/wetting with white carbon black (hydrophilic fumed silica).
Importantly, it does not impart noticeable surface slip. For applications requiring higher slip properties, please consider Anjeka-7333 as a complementary or alternative additive.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATION AREAS
Suitable for virtually all types of water-based coatings, printing inks, and overprint varnishes — especially when a small amount of co-solvent is incorporated in the recipe.

SUGGESTED ADDITION LEVELS
0.05–0.5% of additive (as supplied) calculated on total formulation weight.
These are guideline values based on experience — the ideal dosage should always be determined through lab testing.

INCORPORATION RECOMMENDATION
Anjeka-7422 can be incorporated at any point during manufacturing. For optimal results and to minimize risk of incompatibility, it is preferred to add it during the final adjustment phase of the coating production process.
